After a night out on the town I put on the Alchimie Kantic Brightening Moisture Mask. I call it my drunk mask.

What do you do?
I am an Architect by day and Booze Blogger by night. I’m the editor of Gastronomista, a website dedicated to the culture of drink.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A Bond Girl / Renaissance Woman.

What’s your way of taking care of yourself?
I work out. It’s the best way to set the best pace for the day, work out anxiety, re-align, and get my head in the right place. The gym is one of the few places where I’m able to focus on one thing, and one thing only. I love classes. I always feed off of the energy of the instructor, the music, and of course the regulars I see every week!

Why Heyday?
I came to Heyday in a state of emergency. It’s fair to say that I had neglected my skin throughout my 20s, and was really frustrated with how it was starting to look in my early 30s. I tried using various (expensive!) products, but when I started traveling a lot, my skin really started freaking out. I came back from a trip to Sydney and my skin looked grey and dead. It was terribly dry, but breaking out - ugh, what a nightmare.

I heard about Heyday through friends, loved the care and attention my esthetician Yasmin gave me, and have never looked back. It’s incredibly helpful to work with someone who has a holistic understanding of the wide array of products available and is specifically targeting my issues with such amazing products. My appointment at Heyday is the highlight of my month, and I always try to schedule it when I really need it, like after a long trip or before a photoshoot. I always leave feeling refreshed, and I love that people notice how glow-y I look after a visit!

Your favorite skincare hacks?
More than anything, good habits.

I use Herbivore Lapis Oil within minutes of getting out of the shower, followed by Image Skincare SPF 50. After a night out on the town I put on the Alchimie Kantic Brightening Moisture Mask (I call it my drunk mask), and spot treat with a charcoal mask if I feel like I have a blemish popping up. In the morning it’s as though all sins have been undone.
