During the week, I am the assistant buyer for women's accessories at Gilt Groupe. On weekends I Instagram my breakfast at @justineage!
How do you take care of yourself (this can mean mind, body, or both)?
I love to exercise, I take pilates and spin classes a few times a week. It really helps me to de-stress and clear my head. As for skincare, I love masks and make time to do one daily. Additionally, no matter how late I am out (or how many cocktails I have had) my make-up is off and my skin is clean before bed. No excuses!
What is the very best part about getting a facial?
I love learning about the products! My Skin Therapist (hi, Chrissy!) always tells me what she is putting on my face and how it works. It is quite educational! Did you know that that enzymes in pineapple assist in breaking down dead skin cells? I certainly did not!
What’s your favorite skincare trick/ritual that you’ve learned?
It seems like a no-brainer, but I used to never moisturize at night. I had always assumed that my breakout prone skin needed time to dry out (big mistake, huge) and I would cover my face in some sort of acne treatment every night. Since adjusting my routine to include consistent hydration I have seen major improvement!
If you could soak in a giant bubble bath overlooking any setting, where would you be?
The Brooklyn Botanical Garden during the Cherry Blossom Festival! Bonus points for getting to enjoy the park from indoors, my sneezes are cartoonish and I am ridiculously allergy prone.
